What is the Cinematography + Video Editing + Graphic Design package?
It is three courses — Photography & Cinematography, Video Editing and Graphic Design — taught in sequence as one 5-month programme at Klick Film & Design School in Addis Ababa.
A finished job is rarely just the footage. A wedding needs the film and the album layout. A brand film needs the shoot, the cut and the thumbnail, the poster and the social artwork around it. Students who can do all three quote for the whole job and keep the whole fee.
What You Will Learn
Course Structure — 5 Months
Months 1–2 — Photography & Cinematography. Camera bodies and lenses, exposure and metering, lighting for interior and exterior, composition and camera movement, and how to cover a scene so it can be cut together. You shoot throughout.
Month 3 — Video Editing. Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve: organising footage, assembly and pacing, colour correction and grading, audio cleanup and mixing, and export for client delivery and social platforms.
Months 4–5 — Graphic Design. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign: typography, colour, composition and grid, logo and brand identity, posters and thumbnails, social templates, and files prepared correctly for print and screen.
Throughout. Each stage feeds the next: you design around the films you shot and cut. You finish with a showreel and a design portfolio drawn from the same body of work.
Class Schedules
Classes meet 3 times per week for 2-hour sessions, with weekday and weekend options at both branches — Mexico (Sengatera Building, 19th Floor) and CMC Michael. A new intake starts every two weeks and seats are limited per class, so the shift you want is worth reserving early.
Graduate Outcomes
Graduates work as one-person crews on weddings, events, brand films and commercial content, take junior roles at production houses and agencies with an unusually wide skill set, and start small studios of their own. Five months is long enough to leave with real work rather than exercises.

Taking it separately
Each course can be taken on its own: Photography & Cinematography runs 2 months, Video Editing runs 1 month and Graphic Design runs 2 months, each with its own fee and certificate. The three fees come to the same ETB 25,000 as the package. Taking it as a package means the order is planned in advance and your seat in each stage is held.
