A school built by
practitioners.
Klick Film & Design School was founded in 2025 with a single conviction: that creative education in Ethiopia should be taught by people who actually work in the industry. Not by instructors who learned from textbooks, but by photographers who shoot commercial campaigns, editors who cut real films, and designers who build real brand identities for real clients.
We opened our doors at Siti Mall in Megnagna, Addis Ababa — one training room, professional equipment, a small team of working professionals, and a clear mission.
From one room to
1,200 graduates.
Word spread through the creative community of Addis Ababa — not through advertising, but through graduates who were getting hired and building their own studios. Photographers who had never touched a professional camera began shooting commercial work within weeks of graduating. Editors who came in with zero experience left with showreels that opened doors at production companies across Ethiopia.
We added courses, expanded equipment, and built a scheduling system that allows anyone in Addis Ababa — regardless of their work commitments — to find a class time that fits their life. Eight time slots, six days a week, including weekend and online options.
A creative ecosystem.
Not just a school.
Today Klick operates as a dual brand: Klick Film & Design School trains the next generation of Ethiopian creatives, while Klick Studios provides professional production services — video production, commercial photography, motion graphics, and content creation — to brands and businesses across Addis Ababa and Ethiopia.
This dual structure means our students don't just learn in a classroom. They learn alongside active professional productions, observing and participating in real commercial work — the closest thing to an apprenticeship model in Ethiopian creative education.
