Who it is for
For people abroad who want design as a skill for work or freelancing, business owners who want to make their own branding and posts, and anyone who has tried YouTube tutorials in English and got stuck.
Your teacher is a working professional at Klick Film & Design School in Addis Ababa, where over 2,000 students trained in a single year. Online, it is just you and them: they watch your screen, stop where you are stuck, and every session is spent on your work.
What you will learn
- Design principles, colour, typography and layout
- Illustrator: vector drawing, logo construction, icons
- Brand identity: colour palettes, type pairing, brand guidelines
- Photoshop: photo editing, compositing, brand imagery
- Social media graphics and ad designs
- Print-ready files
- A portfolio of your own projects
Because the class is one-on-one, your teacher sets the order and the pace around what you want to make. The full in-person curriculum is on the Graphic Design course page.
What you need
A laptop or desktop that runs Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, a mouse (a pen tablet helps but is not required), and a stable connection. Ask us about your computer before you pay.
How it works
- Register online or message us on WhatsApp — tell us the country you live in and the hours you are free.
- We match you with a teacher — and agree the session times in your time zone, in Amharic, English or Tigrinya.
- Someone in Ethiopia pays in ETB — at our Mexico or CMC Michael campus, so nothing has to be sent internationally.
- Class starts on Zoom — as soon as your times are agreed.
